So this actually happened!?!

Its a few weeks ago now, but I’ve had a fairly manic October so I’m just getting around to sitting and processing it!

Skipton BID have an annual awards for local businesses across a range of categories.  Nominations opened back in July, and I shared their post suggesting that (if people felt so inclined to) nominate me for the Health and Wellbeing category…. Fast forward to the end of August and I had made it down to the final 3 and invited to the awards ceremony on 2nd October… and its fair to say I was shocked to be announced as the winner!?

This award means so much to me; my business is still relatively small as I maintain my NHS employment 3.5 days a week; but also I do not have a physical premises I have much less ‘visibility’… but also not forgetting the fact that Skipton does have some fabulous businesses catering for health and wellness so it blows my mind that this happened!

I want to say a huge Thank You to all my clients, family and friends for supporting my small business: the nominations, post likes, shares, recommendations etc etc all mean so much to me.  I love my job anyway but this makes it all so worth the long hours and effort 🥰

I can’t be sure that the subtle increase in enquiries has come because of this, but chatting to one of the sponsors on the night she did say “if you weren’t busy before you will be now!” So perhaps people are seeking me out as a result of the press coverage?

The concern now is ensuring I can see clients in a timely manner, I have a reputation to maintain!
