This is a decision I have been putting off for months… as the cost of everything goes up around us I didn’t feel I wanted to add to that burden and felt guilty for doing so. But the time has come when I can absorb the extra costs no more.
My professional fees have jumped up: the HCPC, CSP and AACP all significantly raised (or are raising next year) their fees, and these are costs I have to endure before I even see any clients. And not to mention insurance premiums which have all increased as well.
I did undertake some rudimentary market research to see what other people around me are charging. Seemingly a lot of people don’t advertise their fees, but being a Yorkshire lass I feel I want to provide full transparency to my clients for my services because lets face it, we do all care about how much things are going to cost us?!
So my increase appears to be bringing my prices in line with everyone else, I was at the cheaper end of the market and now sit somewhere were everyone else is.
Human/equine/canine sessions will go up to £60 per session
Hydrotherapy will remain the same at £30 pp for the group session, and 1:1 sessions variable depending on the pool costs (either £130 or £140).
I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with 14 years experience, coming up to 6 of those in the veterinary world, so I hope my clients continue to see the value I bring them and their animals!?
